About
We make AI make sense.
Internet 101 is a content site about AI and the modern internet. We cover how AI models work, how to connect them to your tools, how to automate the boring parts of your day, and which AI tools are actually worth your time.
Why this site exists
Most AI coverage falls into two camps: breathless hype that tells you nothing concrete, or dense technical papers written for researchers. There is very little in the middle for the curious person who just wants to understand what a context window is, whether they should use an open model, or how to get an AI to post to their Notion database automatically.
That middle is where we live. We believe the people who benefit most from AI right now are not engineers — they are marketers, founders, writers, teachers, operators, and hobbyists who are willing to learn. Our job is to meet them with clear language and real examples.
What we cover
Everything is organized into five topic clusters so you can go as deep as you like:
Practical over theoretical
Every guide is written so you can do something with it — not just nod along. If a concept does not change how you work, we cut it.
Honest, no hype
We are not selling you a course or a dream. When a tool is mediocre, we say so. When something is genuinely useful, we explain exactly why.
Beginner-friendly by default
No assumed jargon. We define the acronyms, show the screenshots in your head, and build up from first principles.
Current, not frozen
AI moves weekly. We keep our explainers updated and date everything so you always know how fresh it is.
A note on the writing
Our articles are researched and edited to be accurate and genuinely useful. Where we mention specific products or models, we link to primary sources — official documentation and reputable publications — so you can verify and go deeper. Internet 101 is an educational resource, not financial, legal, or professional advice.
